About Us
Stevenson PTO is dedicated to fostering a vibrant
community by supporting our students and staff with
educational, community, health, wellness and
community building initiatives. We believe that
education and involvement is paramount to building a
strong and healthy community. Join us in making an
impact with our students!
Volunteer
We are only able to accomplish what we do with your
support. The success of our events relies on the dedication of our wonderful community volunteers. We hope you will consider volunteering with the PTO to make this year a great one for all of our children and staff at Stevenson Elementary.
If you are interested in volunteering with the PTO,
please fill out this online form or email the Stevenson
PTO at stevensonelementarypto@gmail.com. For a description of committees, please click here. A list of our current executive board members and contact information can be found below.
All volunteers are required to complete the district

Committees
Our committees at Stevenson are a great way to be involved and to enrich the lives of our kids and staff. We have many opportunities that range in commitment level and times. Have questions? Let us know!

All Arts Day
Every April we celebrate visual arts, music, dance with a day full of
activities. Our chair helps coordinate activities and volunteers with our
wonderful Art Teacher, Mrs. Bova.

Science Day
The fall is a time for the celebration of all things science. Jessica Fields, our 21st Century Learning Coach, works with our volunteers to develop a full day of science activities.

Field Day
May brings a celebration of classic field games, bounce houses and fun to celebrate the end of the school year.
We will ask for a number of volunteers for half day shifts.

Move-a-thon+Wellness Week
Move-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Every fall, our chairs have put together activities focused on individual and community wellness.

Foodie Friday
Once a month, the kids are invited to try a new food. Volunteers will help
serve a small snack to anyone who’d like to try it at lunch.

Third Grade Party
May marks the end of thethird graders time at Stevenson. Our chair helps the third grade teachers organize a fun day for all the kids to celebrate their transition to Larson.

Winter Recess
During January to March, if the temp is below 25 degrees or there is inclement weather, kids will have indoor recess.
As the PTO, we provide kids that would like to go outside an opportunity to do so.

Walking Wednesday
Wednesdays are for walking or biking to school! Stop by one of our 3 stations to get your walking passport marked
and earn a reward at the end of each trimester. We ask for volunteers to
man each station.

Staff Appreciation
Throughout the year we ask for donations to show our staff our appreciation. Whether it is stocking the lounge, a valentines day treat, lunch or coffee, it is much appreciated.

Election Day Bakesale
What goes better with elections than baked goods? Every November we ask for donated baked goods that we sell
at our favorite polling station.

Fun Fair
Each March we host a day filled with games, crafts, facepaint, snacks and fun for kids. It’s a great time had by all,
including all our volunteers!

Bobcat Revue
The Bobcat Revue is a talent show for kids in K-6. We celebrate our kid’s individuality and give them the chance to strut their stuff on the big stage!

Move-a-thon & Wellness Week
We take a week each fall to talk to our kids about the importance of taking care of their minds and bodies; Experts lead fun-filled activities focused on topics like mindfulness, nutrition and social citizenry to kick-start and reinforce healthy habits from the inside, out. At the end of the week's activities, kids participate in the annual Move-A-Thon, a one-day event that links community support and fundraising to healthy habits and exercise.
JOIN US IN MAKING AN IMPACT FOR OUR STUDENTS! All donations go directly to providing our Stevenson kids and staff with access to events and activities that make their school year special.
Move Minds. Move Bodies. Move our Community Forward.
